Joseph Louis Milani, also known as "Joe" Milani, is a highly respected and accomplished figure in the Australian canning industry. With over 44 years of experience, Joe has developed a strong expertise in food canning technology and has served as a consultant to numerous global companies.

In 1989, Joe conceptualized the idea for Southern Canning Pty Ltd, a company located in Portland, Australia that specializes in heat canning and flexible pouch processing of Australian seafood. The company was officially established in 1991 and has since become a world leader in its field. In 2020, Joe created the abalone brand "TWELVE" under the Australian Government Export Authority's registration "EX12."
